These issues stem from the widely used but imperfect design of the pipette nozzle and nozzle adapter, which require excessive force to install the nozzle on all channels. To ensure a secure connection, it is usually necessary to tighten each gun head by hand, which is time-consuming and increases the risk of contamination.
